Abstract
The students plan to create a program that models the traffic during the day at Twelve Corners. Like the Marine Biology Simulation, the cars will be able to move forward and make turns according to the traffic patterns. They will use the MBS as a guide to develop their own program, which will enable an analysis of various traffic patterns. If it turns out that this is too lofty a goal, the students will be able to make modifications to the MBS to enhance its capabilities. Either way the students will learn the MBS by applying it to a real-world problem relevant to their lives.
