The College at Brockport is proud to host the third annual Master’s Level Graduate Research Conference on Saturday April 26, 2014. This conference features the scholarship of master’s level graduate students and celebrates their critical role in our society and higher education system and is open to the public.
Last year’s multidisciplinary conference attracted nearly 400 presenters from 30 universities. It enabled students to hone professional presentation skills and network with faculty and peer scholars as they presented original work through posters, oral presentations, and creative performances.
This year’s conference has several new features, including sessions dedicated to poster presentations or to large panels of oral presentations, disciplinary roundtable workshops and post conference networking receptions, as well as a, free of charge, “Digital Commons” online portfolio to make their scholarly work available to global audiences. A graduate student coordinating committee will work to build disciplinary communities among conference attendees and support visiting presenters.
Call for Proposals STILL open. NOTICE the DEADLINE for online proposal submissions has been extended until March 10, 2014. CLICK below to start!
Conference registraion will be open in late March, after acceptance letters have been sent to student presenters. Registration is required to attend the luncheon and post conference receptions. Conference sessions are free and open to the public.__________________________________________________________________________________________________
