Presenter Bio

A native of San Diego, Ashley Wilson moved to New York for college where she earned her B.S. in Art from the College at Brockport. She is currently enrolled in the graduate program at Brockport for English with a focus on creative writing. As an undergraduate she received the English Student Poetry Award.

Abstract

This piece is broken into ten sections. Each section focuses on the titular addict, but takes a different approach to describing her. It juxtaposes the positives and the negatives of the person, a mother, from the eyes of her child.
