This start up manual was originally created by the staff of Camp Abilities, a sports camp for children visual impairments that meets their developmental needs, which was started in 1996 at The College at Brockport by Dr. Lauren Lieberman.

The purpose of this manual is to help potential camp directors utilize material and information that will help them run a successaful camp what will empower children with visual impairments, blindness and deafblindness to participate in sports to the very best of their ability.
