Description

Translates to: A hand full of living soil. It is a fascinating thought how much life exists in healthy soil, life of all kinds of shapes and sizes. According to Yard and Garden Publications (CMG GardenNotes #212) from the Colorado Masters Gardener Program, besides earthworms, bugs, ants and centipedes, there are about 50,000 anthropods, 100,000 nematodes, 20 million protozoa and 200 billion bacteria in one cup of soil, which is about the amount you can hold in your hand.
