The College at Brockport has been proud to host annual gatherings of the Master’s Level Graduate Research Conference (MaRC) during the spring semester for the past several years. This conference features the scholarship of master’s level graduate students and celebrates their critical role in our society and higher education system.
The MaRc, a multidisciplinary conference, has enabled students to hone professional presentation skills and network with faculty and peer scholars as they have presented original work. Past conferences have included sessions dedicated to poster presentations or panels of oral presentations, creative performances in the arts, disciplinary roundtable workshops, and post conference networking receptions. As an added element, a free of charge, “Digital Commons” online portfolio is available to presenters to share their scholarly work with global audiences.
With regret, the MaRC Conference remains on hiatus for the Spring 2016 semester. Brockport's English Department is hosting a symposium for English graduate students, SEGue 2016 on April 23rd. For information on SEGue 2016 please visit the SEGue 2016 website.
