Abstract

The Graduate Curriculum Committee feels that a distinction should be made between minor and major curricular changes at the graduate level, as has been done for undergraduate curriculum proposals. We also agreed that the language adopted by the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee is appropriate for graduate programs. The criteria used to identify a major change will thus be: Credits change within the existing program Changes in requirements for the existing program One or more departments are affected by the changes Increase of resources is required to implement the change
