Abstract

We wish to allow Medical Technology Majors to take BIO423 (General Microbiology) instead of BIO323 (Microbiology). This change will better serve our students as they pursue their degree. If students want to receive a Biology degree as well as a Medical Technology degree, they are only allowed to count two 300-level electives for the Biology major. This will enable them to take BIO423 and have the course count as a 400-level elective while still fulfilling the New York State requirements for Medical Technology licensure.
